HI, I'M KATHERINE!
My photography journey began at the young age of 3!
From a young age, I loved taking photos of just about everything. Literally. I photographed everything from that cool bug on the window, flowers, and a book I wanted to read later, to class events, family celebrations, and so much more.
Photography was a way for me to capture something cool and preserve it for safekeeping.
As I grew older, I began to realize that photography is about so much more than simply taking a cool picture. Photos allow us to hold on to the moments, people, and memories that are important to us. They give us something tangible to look back on and remember the people we love, the milestones we celebrate, and the different seasons of our lives.
Photography is also a way to share those moments with others. A photograph can help us feel connected to long-distance family members, share an important moment with someone who could not be there, or give future generations a glimpse into the lives and memories of those who came before them.
Today, my passion is helping individuals, families, and businesses capture and preserve their own meaningful moments and stories, while also creating personalized artwork that is uniquely theirs. Whether that means documenting the connection within a family, capturing the unique personality of your beloved four-legged friend, celebrating an important milestone, or creating images that represent you and your brand, I believe photographs have the power to preserve moments that deserve to be remembered.
My mission with photography is simple: to help you capture and preserve the beauty, memories, and meaningful moments of your life so you never forget the things that mean the most.

Policies and FAQs
How to Book
Ready to book your session? Use the contact form at the bottom of this page to reach out with any questions or to get started! I would also be happy to schedule a complimentary consultation call to chat about your vision, answer any questions you may have, and help determine the session that is the best fit for you. Once we have discussed the details and selected a date, your session will be officially reserved with the required retainer fee.
Booking & Retainer Fee
A $25 flat-rate, non-refundable retainer fee is required to secure your session date and time. The retainer will be credited toward your total session fee, with the remaining balance due as agreed upon before or at the time of your session. Retainer fees are non-refundable because your session time is reserved specifically for you.
Arriving On Time
Please plan to arrive on time and ready for your scheduled session. Late arrivals may result in less shooting time, as sessions must remain within their scheduled time frame and cannot always be extended.
Requested Photos & Poses
I will make every reasonable effort to capture the moments and requested images discussed before or during your session. However, specific poses, expressions, reactions, or images cannot be guaranteed, particularly when working with children, pets, large groups, weather conditions, or other unpredictable circumstances.
Photo Delivery & Turnaround Time
The turnaround time for your completed photos will vary depending on the type and length of your session. I will provide an estimated delivery timeframe based on your specific session.
Weather & Rescheduling
Minnesota weather can be unpredictable! If weather conditions make an outdoor session unsafe or unsuitable, we will work together to reschedule your session for another available date. The photographer will make the final decision regarding whether weather conditions require postponement.
Online Gallery & Downloads
Your edited digital images will be delivered through a private online gallery. Once your gallery has been delivered, you will have 30 days to download and save your images. After the gallery expires, access to the images is not guaranteed, so clients are strongly encouraged to download and back up their photos as soon as possible.
Personal Use & Copyright
Clients are welcome to use their purchased images for personal use, including printing, sharing with family and friends, and posting on personal social media accounts.
Images may not be sold, used for commercial purposes, significantly edited or altered, or submitted to contests without written permission from the photographer. The photographer retains the copyright to all images.
Model Release
Unless otherwise discussed in writing, the client grants the photographer permission to use images from the session for photographer's portfolio purposes, website, social media, advertising, and other promotional materials.
If you would prefer that your images not be used for promotional purposes, please let me know before your session so we can discuss your preferences.
